President & CEO of Essociates Group, Inc, Ray holds a BBA in Economics from Washburn University, an MBA from George Mason University, and a Graduate Certificate in eCommerce from Creighton University. He has held the position of Executive Vice-President and Chief Marketing Officer with Amgraf, Inc., a Kansas City, MO-based electronic forms software development company and served as Vice-President of Marketing for Data Documents, a national forms manufacturer, and Corporate Express Document & Print Management, an international forms manufacturer and process solution provider.

Highly active in BFMA, Ray currently serves on the Board of Directors and is the Association's 2001 winner of the prestigious Jo Warner Award (in “recognition of outstanding contributions to the advancement of the forms/systems profession"). Ray also serves as Chairman of the BFMA Education Foundation. With this active participation, he makes his ideas clear: The forms industry is changing and we have to change with it if we're going to keep moving forward. He is also a frequent instructor and writer for several associations.

Ray has more than 30 years experience in the forms industry, including forms management, workflow analysis, and electronic forms development and has dual industry certifications: BFMA's Certified Form Systems Professional (CFSP) and DMIA's Certified Forms Consultant (CFC).

On a personal note, Ray enjoys traveling with his wife Sharon, spending time with family, especially his three grandsons, taking a variety of Internet-based classes and working out. He also serves on the Alumni Association Board of Directors for Washburn University. Ray is an avid U.S. geography trivia buff, so challenge him sometime!
