Margaret E. Tassin, CFSP, CDC, Vice President

Margaret E. Tassin, CFSP, CDC,  Vice-President, holds a BS from Louisiana State University and an MS from Purdue University. She held the position of Manager of Forms, Records and Information Management at Pennzoil-Quaker State Company, initiating the forms automation project, developing a forms management database system and transitioning the in-house print center from press to digital.  Departments reporting to her included forms management, the in-house print center with data center printing, imaging, records management and records center. Previously, she was an account representative for the original forms management outsource provider, The Ross-Martin Company, which is now a part of Corporate Express Document & Print Management, an international forms manufacturer and process solution provider. Ms Tassin has more than 28 years experience in the forms industry, including forms management, forms printing and electronic forms development.

Ms Tassin is an active member of the Business Forms Management Association (BFMA), an association for business forms professionals. She is a 1997 recipient of the Association's Award of Excellence in recognition of outstanding contributions to the Association. She is a frequent speaker for BFMA and other national associations since 1987. In 1992 she was inducted to the End User's Hall of Fame, sponsored by Business Documents magazine.

Ms Tassin is doubly certified as a Certified Form Systems Professional (CFSP), granted by BFMA, and a Certified Document Consultant (CDC), granted by DMIA. She not only has the certifications but she was invited to join the certification boards to write and oversee both exams. She served for six years on DMIA’s certification accreditation board. She was a founding member of BFMA’s Certified Form Systems Professional accreditation board, serving for six years and chairing the board in 1999.

On a personal note, Margaret and her husband Don are international travelers, preferring to research and travel independently. She likes to spend time with family, read, garden and meet friends for lunch.
